The rag & bone jean was an instant hit with the fashion forward crowds in New York and London. In 2004 rag & bone launched their men’s line and by the fall of 2005 of their women’s collection. Pretty amazing for two young guys with no formal fashion training. Rag & bone label is an understated sportswear line that is modern with a classic execution. Might be the strong influence from classic British tailoring the label possesses that a classic esthetics. Incorporating high quality fabric, classic construction married with a perfect fit whether it is a pair of jeans, shirt or suit. It is no wonder that the dynamic duo, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, were named Menswear Designers of the Year by the CFDA in 2010. |
